Humana to partner with South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to bolster care for Medicaid and Medicare populations

Humana works to prioritize health equity and outreach in our communities that need it most. Through a strategic partnership with the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, Humana has been added to its Healthy Connections Medicaid program and its Health Connections Prime program.

These programs aim to provide expanded healthcare to South Carolinians who have both Medicare and Medicaid. Individuals of this population were particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and this effort offers a partial solution as we support our South Carolina communities.
